Who we are and What we do

Annual Membership

Annual membership will include online access to all the Society's records for the calendar year, free entry to all presentation meetings and refreshments afterwards.  Trips will be charged at cost price.  Payment of £6 will be taken at the door or by cheque payable to Slimbridge Local History Society and sent to:

Postal applications should also include the following information:

Name, address, phone number, and email address.

 Online access will be granted by email on clearance of the cheque and will be valid for the remainder of the calendar year for annual members and for 12 months for researchers

Directions

From Exit 13 on the M5, follow signs to the A38 South and continue along this road for approximately 4 miles to the roundabout signposted Dursley and Slimbridge.  Turn right and follow this road for about 1/4 mile. The Village Hall is on the left hand side, almost opposite the Church.

From Exit 14 on the M5, turn left at the top of the exit ramp and travel a short distance to the traffic lights at the T-junction.  Turn right on to the A38 North. Continue along this road for about 5 miles to the roundabout signposted Dursley and Slimbridge and turn left. Continue as above.

Parking is at the rear of the Hall, just after the main entrance.
